There's plenty to do and see at this year's Greek Festival New Orleans — bring your family and experience our family's rich culture! Take a guided tour of the Cathedral, watch the Hellenic Dancers perform, listen and dance to live Greek music, and relax on the Bayou while the kids enjoy the Athenian Playground.

OlympusFun amusements and food for picky eaters (hot dogs, for kids only). Located right next to the Bayou (look for our Mount Olympus climbing wall) — your kids are sure to have a great time!

Climb Mount Olympus! — Do you have what it takes to climb Mount Olympus? Find out on our favorite Athenian Playground attraction! 400 square feet of climbing rock stand twenty-four feet into the air, with four degrees of difficulty that the entire family can enjoy. Start out easy on Monkey Hill and work your way up or go right for the gusto and attempt level four — Mount Olympus!

Face Painting & Kid Crafts — let the artist in your family create an original treasure!

Hercules Hammer — are you strong enough to ring the bell?

Canoes1aInflatable Fun — for little and medium sized bouncers!

Treasures of Ancient GreeceArmed with buckets, shovels, paintbrushes, and other archeological gear, your little ones can discover pottery, coins, stones, and more!

Rent a Canoe — Want to get away? Rent a GFNO boat and take a tour of Bayou St. John! Canoes will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for your enjoyment.

ChurchToursTake a guided trip through our Cathedral, given by our church historians. You may be surprised at what you learn! Tour schedule is listed below.

• Friday — 7:00 and 8:00
• Saturday — 12:00, 2:00, 5:00, 7:00 (vespers), and 7:30
• Sunday — 12:00, 2:00, 5:00, and 7:00

Our dancers practice throughout the year in preparation for the Festival. On stage, they perform a variety of Greek dances for your entertainment. Their schedules are listed below.

Please note that the races will begin on the corner of Robert E. Lee and Wisner Boulevards.

Don't miss the fun on Sunday, when we are giving anyone wearing a toga free admission! In addition, there will be a Best Toga and Best 'Stache contest Sunday evening (following the 6:30 outdoor Hellenic Dance presentation), with prizes for first and second place in both categories:

The rules are simple: (1) this is a family festival, so keep your togas tasteful and tightly tied -- we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone with unacceptable attire; (2) mustache contestants can sport fake or real 'staches; (3) Participants will be judged on originality, personality, crowd reaction, and other subjective terms; (4) Winners will be chosed according to contest emcee discretion; all decisions are final. Good luck!
